If that doesn't make much sense to you, here's a little background. In the early days of personal computers, there was a text-based adventure game called Zork. In that game, there was a section in which, if you made certain mistakes, you would find yourself presented with the admontion "It is dark. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue." This became a somewhat iconic experience for many users of that era, and this shirt recalls it with a slight variation. Trust us, you had to be there to really appreciate the Gruesome experience.
